🏚️ CHEAP DEMOLITION QUOTE? THERE’S USUALLY A REASON WHY.

Lately, we’ve seen some house demolition quotes being substantially undercut, and it makes you wonder where those savings are actually coming from.

This week, L*D Excavations Pty Ltd has also been out cleaning up an illegal dump in Bargo.

We’re not saying the two are connected — but it highlights something every homeowner should think about when choosing a demolition contractor.

Where does your house actually go once it’s demolished?

Are the correct disposal fees included?
Is the waste going to licensed facilities?
Is asbestos being handled and disposed of correctly?
Is the job being completed safely, legally and responsibly?

Proper demolition isn’t just about knocking a house down and getting off site as cheaply as possible.

There are real costs involved in doing the job properly — compliant disposal, asbestos removal, transport, licences, insurances, safety and experienced operators.

So if one demolition quote is substantially cheaper than the rest, don’t be afraid to ask why.

Because the cheapest demolition quote can become someone else’s problem down the road.
