So this space is filled.

Seriously it may not seem exciting for most but for Nays Place it is.

In 2017 ago I opened as a pop-up shop for the Easter weekend so everything was kind of temporary - IKEA played a large part in my storage solutions.

Well fast forward 4 years and with the help of a gorgeous young man I now have some permanent shelving which does get boxes off the floor and gives me some room to display a few of my sewing machines.

I sent Brett Ackland Complete Carpentry a photo of some shelving I had seen at Amitie Textiles and Pretty Country Things and asked him what he could do.

Brett has just finished his apprenticeship as a carpenter/joiner and after seeing the Caravan he has retrofitted I couldn’t ask for a better job.

Uneven floorboards created a few issues and we can’t quite get them to line up - but i’m so happy with them and it feels good to start looking at permanent solutions for my fabrics.
