This underground power cable i had the privellage of exposing was not installed at legal depth of 600mm, was not dusted, nor was there any ID tape installed above the conduit in the trench!

The assetts location was also not on the Dial before you dig map!

It has now been replaced and installed to regulation. This could result in injury at worst but did not!

Breaking some assets like Gas pipes, water pipes, drainage, NBN and Data Cables uninsured can cost you personally hundreds to possibly thirty thousand or more dollars.
