Remember that little leak we were talking about? 👀
This is exactly why we say not to ignore the small stuff.
What started as an undetected leak eventually led to this pump failing in a rather dramatic fashion. 💥
Pool equipment doesn’t always give up without warning. Often, there are little signs along the way — leaks, strange noises, corrosion or changes in performance.
The earlier you spot a problem, the better chance you have of preventing it from becoming a much bigger (and more expensive) one.

Because preventative maintenance is a lot less dramatic than an exploding pump. 😂
Before you blame the kids, the dog or FNQ rain… have a closer look. 👀😂
A leaking pump can be a sign that something isn’t sealing, connecting or functioning as it should.
And while a small drip might not seem like a big deal right now, ignoring it can lead to bigger issues over time.
💧 Things to look for:
• Water collecting underneath equipment
• Dripping around connections
• Damp areas that don’t dry out
• A leak that seems to be getting worse
Your pool pump is designed to move water — not slowly redecorate your equipment area with puddles.
