⚠️ TRUE or FALSE?
Powerlines are only dangerous if you touch them.

❌ False.

Most people think you need to touch a powerline to receive an electric shock—but electricity can jump (arc) across air gaps.

That means simply getting too close can allow electricity to travel from the powerline to you, your tools or your equipment.

Always keep a safe distance from overhead powerlines.

⚠️ SAFETY ALERT
A Small Tingle Is Never "Normal"
Have you ever received a small shock or tingling sensation from something you shouldn't have? Don't ignore it.

Even a minor electric shock can indicate an electrical fault that could become much more dangerous.

If this happens:
- Stop using the equipment.
- Don't touch it again.
- Keep your footwear on and stay clear of the area.
- Contact a licensed electrician.

Remember: The fault may not be limited to the object that gave you the shock.

**Another addition to the Elvery’s fleet!**

We’ve added an all-terrain scissor lift to the lineup!

Bigger than our current scissor lifts and built to handle all-terrain conditions, it gives the team another option for those jobs that need a little extra reach and flexibility on site.

The fleet keeps growing, and it's safe to say this one will be out and about often! ⚡️

⚠️ HIDDEN DANGER
Could you tell if these powerlines were live or not?

With electricity, isn't always obvious.
Sometimes you'll see sparks or arcing.
Sometimes there will be no visible signs of danger at all.

Always treat fallen powerlines as live and dangerous — even if they're lying across a fence, tree or the ground.

Keep well clear, warn others to stay away, and call for help immediately.
