SANCON Construction Corp PTY LTD is a trusted Queensland construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high quality commercial, residential, fit-out, carpentry and landscaping projects. We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with site teams, contractors and clients, you will play an integral role in ensuring projects run efficiently from commencement through to completion. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, communication and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers and Site Supervisors.
- Maintain project filing systems, registers, databases and document control processes.
- Assist in coordinating subcontractor inductions, licences, insurances, SWMS and compliance documentation.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes and project correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, inspections and project milestones.
- Process purchase requisitions, delivery dockets and general project records.
- Monitor project tracking systems, timesheets and workforce records.
- Assist with procurement coordination, material deliveries and supplier documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets and project status updates for management.
- Support onboarding of project personnel and maintain training and competency records.
- Coordinate project handover documentation, manuals and close-out records.
- Manage incoming calls, emails and general office administration duties related to projects.
- Assist with maintaining quality, safety and environmental documentation and records.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Construction Administrator or similar role (Preferred/ not essential)
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused attitude.
