Another great evening celebrating Construction at the Wide Bay Burnett Master Builders Awards. Murchie Constructions won ‘Education Facilities from $7M up to $15M’ for the Shalom Coolock Building, and Adina won ‘Commercial Fitout up to $5M’ for the same project. Fantastic work, team!🙌

Today we officially farewelled two Murchie Team Legends - hanging up their boots 🥾 for the good life 🎣 🏕️. With them went years of knowledge and experience. Alan and Bill, you will be missed but we wish you good health for a long fulfilled retirement doing what you love with your nearest and dearest. Don’t forget us, and we look forward to you popping in for a catch up from time to time. Thank you for everything and enjoy your well earned Retirement!

Meet Andrew Murchie – Managing Director at Murchie Constructions

Andrew grew up in Bundaberg surrounded by construction. His father founded the company in 1966, and after graduating from QUT in 1991, Andrew worked with major builders before returning home to take over the family business in 2004.

"Winning the Master Builders Queensland Housing and Construction Award for Commercial Renovation/Refurbishment up to $15 Million for the refurbishment of the Wintergarden Theatre.
This recognition at State level is a proud moment for our regional team and reflects the outstanding quality of tradespeople in our community"
