Happy Sunday legends ⛳️👊🏻

Qld blue couch still performing well out front, starting to get a few dry spots.

With know decent rain for the last three months or more, it’s starting to take a toll on the lawns. Soil moisture is quite low and irrigation alone just doesn’t cut it.

Time to increase this soil wetter applications, my go to LawnPride Australia hydramaxx 👊🏻

Little weekend fun 👊🏻🌱

After battling ERI in the hybrids for the past two seasons, I’ve finally had enough 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

My backyard is around 1,200sqm of turf, so I’m tackling this irrigation zone by irrigation zone. There’s already QLD Blue Couch popping up throughout most of the backyard, so the plan is to give it a serious helping hand.

Hard scarify ➡️ scalp ➡️ topdress ➡️ spread QLD Blue Couch sprigs/scarifyings from the front lawn ➡️ water, water and more water 💦

The idea is to introduce a hell of a lot more Blue Couch into the existing turf and hopefully, over time, have it outcompete the hybrids.

Bit of an experiment, but I’ll keep posting the progress so we can see how it turns out 👊🏻

Only about 1,000sqm left to do 😂🤦🏻‍♂️
