PONDING THE SLAB 💧

A small stage, but an important one at

After the slab is poured, keeping the concrete wet helps slow the curing process, allowing it to develop strength more evenly and reducing the risk of surface cracking caused by moisture being lost too quickly.

It’s one of those behind-the-scenes steps that doesn’t look like much, but plays an important role in the long-term performance of the slab.

Especially important here, with the burnished concrete floor forming part of the finished home. 👏🏼
