Hello Followers,
Thanks for supporting our little side hustle just starting out. We hope in the future to buy land, build and have an iris business in a rural area. We are a 26 year old couple navigating our lives and career knockbacks, however have a dream for our future. We’re hoping we can settle in Cowra NSW on our next adventure.
2025 and has had its ups and downs with the beauty of the East Gippsland Coast. My fiance and I moved to this area to begin my career as a Medical Scientist. Between us we have many disabilities, however are determined to be independent, have careers and small businesses. Unfortunately this move wasn’t the right fit and hopefully looking forward to working for NSW Health Pathology in Cowra NSW once pre- employment checks are complete.
To end the year I was diagnosed with severe Graves Disease and have been put on a lot of medication. Here’s to 2026 with dreams come true, new adventures/move and hopefully our dream earthy garden wedding.
This year we also welcomed our newest member to the family! We now have Isla, Leo and Benji. Isla and Leo will be joining our breeding program designed to improve the health of our Cavalier King Charles spaniels in Australia. This has been a long awaited goal just like our future iris farm and hybridising goals. Our furkids find running through the irises a maze of fun.
To improve the health of our irises and to avoid watering with a hose for 2 hrs we have added a brown hose dripper system.
We hope our valued customers and followers have a great 2026! Due to irises multiplying nicely we will have a larger sale in March.
We have been given many tips by our valued buyers in our last sale and will be selective when listing irises for sale to ensure quality in size of rhizome and digging after sales have been finalised.
