* not scared of hard work, 12 hour days and a shovel.
* dont mind working remotely a lot of the year (up to 2 weeks at a time).
* any civil experience
* good attendance rate at school or previous workplaces
* dont have any weekly obligations that will get in the way of working remotely.
* have the capacity to get through 3 years of tafe on block release
* can follow instructions without hesitation.
* Proven safety record

What we can offer you:
* Hands on training in Electrical, Comms, Civil.
* A Grade electrical ticket at the end of your time.
* Work with a great crew
* On the job up skilling through external training providers.
* Work in some great places around the Kimberley

Mature age apprentices considered as long as you are not worn out.

Walkabout Contracting is a growing Electrical Contracting Company based in Broome, WA. We service many clients in the Kimberley ranging from Large Scale marine organisations in remote locations, Fixed Plant maintenance and operation, routine and reactive maintenance for government and commercial sector, Major construction Projects throughout Kimberley.

The Role

The Role will be casual based 1 Hour out of Broome at KMS on a 2week on 2 week off roster.
This role will be drive in drive out of Broome with company car provided.

If you possess the following skills and tickets or most of please apply.

*4 years post trade experience.
*Proven safety record.
*Be able to complete onsite paperwork (JSA's, take 5's) neatly and competently as required.
*Ability to test installations using mandatory testing requirements.
*Ability to adapt to different scenarios quickly under pressure (must)
*Not be scared of a shovel or "Hard Work"
*Ability to manage vehicle stock and keep vehicle organised and clean.
*Be able to communicate clearly with peers and clients in a friendly manner to maintain good relationships.
*First Aid and CPR
*Be able to pass routine D&A Testing and pre site medical (must)

What you will be given in return.
*Renumeration $70ph flat rate on minimum 12 hour days.
*Super paid on all hours worked.
*On site accommodation and meals.
*On site training.
