Before and after: one window changed how this family lives.

We installed a gas strut window, and it’s completely transformed how they use their outdoor space. What was once a wall is now a breakfast bar for slow weekend mornings and a happy hour bar when friends come over.

Anthony’s in the showroom today showing just how well secondary glazing works.

It is a second sliding glass door that effectively reduces external noise, and keeps the heat out. We recommend it a lot for homes on busy roads, near flight paths, or older places that need a boost in comfort.

Why does regular cleaning actually matter, beyond just looking good? Because it protects your investment!

Left to build up, salt residue on the coast doesn't just sit on the surface, it can slowly etch into glass and corrode aluminium frames and hardware over time.

That means a window or door that should last decades can start showing wear years earlier than it should.

Regular cleaning (plus the odd hose-down in between) keeps that salt from ever getting the chance to do damage, so your frames stay looking sharp and performing the way they're meant to.

It's a small habit that pays off in a big way, protecting both the look of your home and the lifespan of your windows and doors.

Sliding doors that are grinding or hard to budge are usually a track problem, and the fix is easier than most home owners would expect!

Vacuum out loose dirt and sand first, then scrub the track with a soft brush and warm soapy water, getting into the corners. Dry it off and run a dry silicone-based lubricant along the track and rollers (skip oil-based, it just attracts more dust).

Living near the coast means salt air and sand find their way into every track, so a clean every few months keeps your doors gliding smoothly.

That's the review we just got about a tricky mid-sized kitchen window with a frame so rotted it had to be fully replaced and it's exactly the kind of job we love.
