Project Completion - Helping Hand Rotary House

That’s a wrap on the refurbishment of Levels 2 and 3 of Rotary House at Helping Hand’s Westering precinct in North Adelaide. 🙌

We’ve transformed 37 premium care suites within a live operational environment. Each suite now features a bedroom, lounge and dining area, boutique kitchen and private ensuite, creating spaces designed around comfort, privacy and feeling at home.

Residents can also now enjoy a new alfresco area with BBQ facilities, plus dedicated spaces for movies, music, games and reading.

A great project in a complex environment and a big team effort. Thanks to the trusted consultants and sub-contractors who worked alongside us to pull it all together.

Kennett is thrilled to complete our first project for the Ingenia Communities Group in Victoria with the successful delivery of a clubhouse, wellness centre and significant outdoor amenity at Springside Beveridge, north of Melbourne.

The scope included an indoor swimming pool, gym, cinema, library, business centre, lounge, bar and hairdressing salon. With extensive landscaping outdoors including BBQ areas, hardcourt bowls/croquet and pickleball courts, this new facility will provide first class accommodation for the new residents.

Kennett was engaged to deliver the conversion of an existing warehouse into a brand new Geely vehicle showroom in Chadstone, following the successful delivery of a storage facility in Springvale for GWS Automotive Group.

The project involved transforming the industrial space into a high quality showroom environment, incorporating modern offices, staff amenities, a dedicated vehicle handover bay and premium lighting and finishes throughout.

Delivered efficiently and to a high standard, the project enabled our repeat client to open and commence trading quickly within this busy automotive precinct.

100 new homes and a more sustainable future!

Another 100 apartments have been delivered with the completion of two affordable social housing apartment buildings at Prospect Corner in Adelaide’s inner north-east.
Working together with architect Brown Falconer, sustainability was front and centre with both buildings targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. In addition, these two projects were pilots for Kennett’s BAMB (Buildings as Material Banks) initiative which promotes circularity in the construction industry and the subsequent reduction of GHG emissions.
Extensive value management on both buildings whilst maintaining quality and sustainability objectives, contributed to significant savings for the client.
Delivered within tight timeframes and alongside multiple concurrent construction projects in a busy precinct, these projects represent a significant affordable housing outcome that has been supported by the Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF).

Our REFLECT RAP has been recently endorsed by Reconciliation Australia and we have chosen National Reconciliation Week to launch our RAP across every project site in SA and Vic, and take the opportunity to speak with our teams and subcontractors around the meaning behind the RAP and its importance to our business. Going forward, we will continue to focus on building genuine partnerships, creating opportunities, supporting education and awareness, and strengthening connections that deliver positive and lasting outcomes.
