Our client’s brick wall has officially been hijacked! I told them the Colorbond fence was the boundary line, but they literally said: ‘It’s free real estate.’

With Spring just over 2 weeks away, it’s coming close to that time of year when these guys wake up, start breeding and hunt for mates. Black House Spiders love hiding out in brick weep holes, window frames and fence capping, waiting for the warmer weather.

If your backyard is starting to look like a horror movie, skip the guessing game and give us a call before they take over!

The bees are already doing pre-season training with this beautiful flower. Today gave us a flawless, sunny sneak peek of warmer weather and we are absolutely loving every minute of it.

Dust off your sunglasses and tell the local pollen creators to get ready, spring is officially just 30 days away.

Serious question though, is it too soon to start packing away my winter blankets?

It looks like the local mice are treating our bait stations like a free, all-you-can-eat buffet!

Did you know mice actually feel completely safe inside a bait station? It gives them the perfect shelter to sit back, relax, feeling safe and secure while they nibble away at the bait blocks.

Little do they know that it ain't quite the feed they were after!

Anyone else played landlord to a bunch of uninvited furry tenants recently?

Did you know…

External ant colonies slow down in winter, but nests inside heated buildings stay active. Ants can exploit tiny openings under one millimetre wide, including hairline cracks, crevices and visible gaps within a building’s framework.

Take action before they get in! Sealing visible entry points through DIY home maintenance or by calling a local maintenance company will stop pests from accessing your premises.

Exciting news at Household Pest Control! After years of outstanding service, the time has officially come - today is the day our founder, Ian, is hanging up his spray gun and retiring to live his best life!

Since our establishment in 2013, we genuinely appreciate the incredible support of our wonderful clients who have been with us along our pest journey, contributing to our business growth over the years. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love.

With years of dedication and client commitment, we have truly shaped who we are. Now, that same passion leads Kim to officially take ownership of the family business.
