Two new faces. Two important roles.

We’re pleased to welcome Kelly Ludwig, Bid and Brand Coordinator, and Andrew Dennis, Estimating Manager, to the Pentacon Precontracts team, where they will work with our Precontracts Manager Nathan Bush.

Kelly joins us to strengthen how we communicate our capability and tell the Pentacon story. Andrew brings his experience to our estimating function, strengthening how we assess, price and pursue new opportunities.

Different roles, but both have an important part to play in what comes next for Pentacon.

Pentacon is proud to announce that we've been awarded the George Street & Targo Street Intersection Upgrade and Saltwater Creek Crossing Reconstruction project for Bundaberg Regional Council.

A key crossing. A major intersection. One coordinated delivery.

This important project will deliver:

✅ Replacement of the existing creek crossing structure
✅ Road reconstruction and widening works
✅ New drainage and utility infrastructure
✅ Improved pedestrian crossings and pathways
✅ Street lighting, signage and line marking upgrades

We're looking forward to working collaboratively with Bundaberg Regional Council, stakeholders and our delivery partners to bring this project to life.

What does a landfill cell look like before anyone ever uses it?

At Hogan's Pocket Landfill, our team has now excavated more than 22,000m³ of material and installed approximately 25,000m² of multi-layer geosynthetic liner as part of Cell 4 construction.

Other key works completed include:
• 700m of new perimeter road
• Five culvert crossings
• A 4,000m³ High Efficiency Sediment (HES) basin

Next up is the leachate collection system and approximately 14,000 tonnes of drainage aggregate.

A fantastic effort from everyone involved in delivering this important piece of environmental infrastructure safely and to a high standard.

Pentacon is excited to announce the opening of our new laydown yard at Pleystowe, just outside Mackay.

This new facility will strengthen our ability to support projects across Mackay and the Bowen Basin by providing additional capacity for our plant, equipment and project logistics.

A big thank you to Will, Mick, Kenny and the team for the hard work that went into setting up the yard.

It's another great step forward as we continue to invest in the infrastructure and resources needed to support our growing operations.

This exciting development will provide much needed residential land in one of Mackay's most sought-after locations, creating lasting value for both the local community and the region's future growth.

🏗️ An Australian icon has a new home... and we were proud to help bring her there. 🦘

Pentacon is incredibly proud to have delivered the construction, transport and installation of "Milly", the new 9-metre replica of the iconic 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games mascot Matilda, at The Mill Water Park in Petrie for the City of Moreton Bay.

This was a truly unique project that required detailed planning, specialist transport and precision installation to safely deliver one of Queensland's most recognisable icons. Projects like this don't come around often, and our team was proud to play a part.

With Brisbane 2032 on the horizon, Milly now stands as a symbol of Queensland's sporting history while inspiring the next generation of athletes and visitors to the region.

The project has already attracted significant attention, even featuring on Sunrise, highlighting the excitement around bringing this Australian icon back into the spotlight.

A big thank you to the City of Moreton Bay for trusting Pentacon to deliver such a memorable project, and congratulations to everyone involved in making it a reality.

We're proud to have left our mark on a project that will be enjoyed by families and visitors for generations to come.
