A lot of the progress on a build happens before the finishes ever go in.

Over the past few weeks, the team has been focused on framing both levels, preparing the deck and tying everything down so the structure is ready for the roof.

From here, the cladding, decking and internal fit-out will start to change the feel of the home quickly and bring everything closer to the finished vision.

Getting the frame right now sets up everything that follows.

At our Windsor project, the team has been working through the frame inspection to make sure every detail is where it needs to be before the next stage begins.

Once the cladding goes on, the whole build will start to feel much more like a finished home and we’re looking forward to seeing that transformation happen.

One of the biggest challenges on a renovation like this is getting the old and new to work together seamlessly.

With a large extension tying back into the original home, there’s been plenty of planning, problem solving and careful ex*****on behind the scenes.

Paddington September Walkthrough: Part 3

The finishes are really starting to bring this Paddington home to life.

From the polished burn-finish concrete floors to the oversized kitchen island and full-width sliding doors, each space is starting to show how the home will feel once complete.

Outside, the pool area is progressing, while the sauna and wet room add another layer to the way the clients will be able to use and enjoy the home.

From the existing front section and bedrooms to the new walk-in robe, bathroom and laundry chute, the layout is being carefully adapted to suit how the home will be used day to day.

One of the standout views is straight down the hallway to the hit-and-miss brickwork at the rear, tying the original cottage into the newer architectural elements beyond.

From the concrete works around the pool to the tiling now underway inside, the home is moving into some of the stages where the finishes really start to show.

The oversized windows, void, concrete seating and generous master suite are all coming together to give the home a strong sense of scale, light and openness.
