Be advised that there is another storm rolling in today!
Safeway tree service does provide emergency service but if a tree has landed on your shed, house, car, neighbours fence/property it is advised that you contact your insurance provider first.

Key visuals to look out for on hazards trees
- up lifting roots
- major splits on outer bark or hanging branchs in canopy
- splits in included bark
- leaning trees
- dead/major decay
- lighting strike damage (burns/splits)

Long lateral limbs can influence a high risk hazard, especially on Eucalyptus trees that are used for providing shade. Too much weight on long lateral limbs and provided strong winds can result in catastrophic consequences.
Today we performed a pruning method of removel and reduction of lateral branches and dead wooding on this grey gum or formally known as Eucalyptus punctata. After tending to this tree it now no longer poses a threat to students, staff members and teachers at this wonderful school.

Our services also include spotting other potential hazards such as included bark, dead wood, infections and diseases and other potential hazards. Its our job to help ensure the safety to all people.

We performed a reduction and hollow removal on this scribbly gum. Reason being a house is being constructed directly underneath a hazardous limb that had a major cavity.
Now that these limbs have been removed/reduced the weight of the tree will be well away from the house creating no potential hazard of limb failure.

Major reduction and dead wooding on a 13m jacaranda.
Scientific name: Jacaranda mimosifolia
Family: Bignoniaceae

Major compressed limb was removed as it had the potential to fail.
20% reduction all round the tree, lifting a lot of the weight upright.
