We’re proud to unveil our newest creative lighting project for Brisbane City Council on Oxford St at Bulimba!

This project presented some challenges, including lane closures, night work and maintaining a safe exclusion zone around high voltage power lines.

We hope that businesses, residents and visitors will enjoy the new evening face of these natural landmarks.

Firefly Lighting Color Kinetics

Colour and scene selection for Charles Drew Bridge can be controlled from anywhere in the world via a simple touch interface, on any device with a web browser, allowing the bridge to be themed for special occasions at the touch of a button.

Control is provided by a CueServer 2 Mini from Interactive Technologies, Inc. This is the third CueServer system we have installed to control decorative lighting installations for Western Downs Regional Council.

The behind-the-scenes interface design and programming is done with CueServer Studio software, and we love its capability for customisation and integration.

All smiles thanks to our delivery from Signify of Color Kinetics ColorBlast Powercore gen4 RGB luminaires for our bridge installation in Dalby. An array of these punchy fittings have been mounted under the bridge deck, washing the bridge pylons and the waters of Myall Creek in colour to complement the Firefly LED neon.

It took only a few minutes to discover, address and test the entire installation in Quickplay Pro.

We've been a bit quiet on Facebook recently, but behind the scenes, the team has been busy working night and day - in air and on water! In Dalby, QLD, Eltech has delivered a huge feature lighting installation on Charles Drew Bridge over Myall Creek for Western Downs Regional Council.

176m of Firefly Lighting RGBW Neon Flex has been installed to accent the horizontal spans of the bridge, with the help of an enormous 135' boom lift and a modular floating work platform system.

We look forward to sharing the finished product with you in the coming days!
