What a ripper weekend, Mount Isa! 🤠🔥

The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo turned on the sunshine and the crowds, with a record-breaking 18,000 people coming through across three huge days!

For our team, it meant the chance to connect with the people who keep regional Australia moving, from mining and industrial workers to local businesses, competitors, volunteers, emergency services and the wider Mount Isa community.

And with the Mount Isa heat doing its thing, we made sure there was plenty of Sqwincher to go around. 💧

Across the weekend, our team handed out:

18,000+ Sqwincher Sqweeze Pops
40,000+ Sqwincher Qwik Stiks

We heard “Go Sqwincher!” called out through the crowd, saw competitors cooling down with Sqweeze Pops behind the chutes and had countless people stop by just to have a chat.

Those are the moments we’ll remember!

We also wanted to give something back while we were there. So while we handed out Sqwincher, we encouraged people to make a donation to the Mount Isa Men’s Shed, supporting a local organisation that brings people together and does important work within the community.

Because behind every worksite, every shift and every hi-vis shirt is a person. A worker with mates and a family who want them coming home safe at the end of the day.

Being part of weekends like this gives us the chance to meet the people we exist to support, listen to their experiences and keep important conversations around hydration, heat stress management and looking after one another going.

The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo kicks off this weekend, and Pryme and Sqwincher are proud to be part of it from 7 to 9 August.
