“I Don’t Want to Go” – Supporting Children Through Big Feelings
At Build Crew, we know that attending therapy or support appointments isn’t always easy. For many children, unfamiliar environments, anxiety, sensory challenges, or simply having a difficult day can make leaving the house feel overwhelming.
That’s why we love resources like I Don’t Want to Go—a thoughtful children’s book that helps young people understand and express their feelings about attending appointments, school, therapy, or other important activities.
Through engaging storytelling and relatable characters, the book encourages children to talk about their worries, build confidence, and develop positive strategies for facing situations that may feel difficult.
We believe this could be a valuable resource for Occupational Therapists, support coordinators, and families working alongside children who need a little extra encouragement. Used as part of therapy sessions or as a conversation starter at home, it can help reduce anxiety, foster resilience, and make the journey to support services a little easier.
At Build Crew, we’re always looking for practical tools that support better outcomes for children and their families—and I Don’t Want to Go is one we’d happily recommend exploring.

We are incredibly proud to share that our physiotherapist, Naomi O'Keeffe, has published her very first children’s book, "I Don’t Wanna Go", now available in the clinic for purchase! 🤩

Drawing on her experience as both a physiotherapist and a parent, Naomi has created a beautifully relatable story that helps children understand therapy in a positive way. The book introduces children and families to services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychology, and exercise physiology, helping make these experiences more familiar and less intimidating🫂

This book reflects what we see every day in clinic—that with the right support, therapy can be engaging, empowering, and even fun.🥰

Please join us in congratulating Naomi and celebrating this incredible achievement! 💚

🛠️ Property Law is Changing — and Build Crew Has You Covered ✅
From 1 August 2025, Queensland’s new Property Law Act 2023 will require sellers to provide a Seller Disclosure Statement (Form 2) — with all approvals, certificates, and compliance documents — before a buyer signs a contract.

That includes:

At Build Crew, we take pride in doing things the right way — every job we complete is properly certified and fully documented. Whether you’re building to sell or stay, your project will be ready for the new rules from day one.
