Most compliance files fail in the same three places.
1. Identification was assumed, not done.
2. The register exists as a PDF from years ago and has not been reviewed after works.
3. The management plan does not match what is actually on the roof, in the eaves, or behind the wet-area linings.
Queensland public guidance expects the person with management or control of a workplace to identify asbestos so far as reasonably practicable, keep a register, and keep a written plan where asbestos is identified or likely. Review at least every five years, or earlier after disturbance.
None of that requires panic. It requires a pathway.
