From demo to done on Bribie 🏝️

We handled the demo, reframed, and knocked up a bulkhead.

Massive thanks to Brent a local Bribie plasterer for helping us get the sheeting and setting spot on. The client took on the painting, and we wrapped it all up with a sleek CCS Grey Granite flake.

How do you stop a -20° freezer door from freezing directly into the concrete floor? Teamwork. ❄️⚡

When a -20° freezer doorway keeps freezing shut, the threshold needs a permanent fix that can handle sub-zero temps, moisture, and heavy traffic.

For this job, I teamed up with a top-notch refrigeration crew to get the doorway back in action:

My role: As an epoxy floor specialist, I prepped the threshold and seamlessly embedded the heater strip directly into the ground, sealing it tightly so it’s protected from moisture, forklifts, and thermal shock.

The refrigeration team: Handled the electrical hookups, controls, and remaining element works to power up the system.

The result: A clean, seamless floor threshold with zero ice buildup and a freezer door that opens smoothly every time. 🛠️
