We are a family-owned company in the asphalt and road surfacing industry, and we’re looking for a reliable HC Semi Driver to join our team.

📍 Yard: Rocklea
💰 Above award wages
🚛 Automatic truck

What you’ll be doing:
• Carting asphalt between plants and project sites
• Pre-start checks & completing paperwork
• Keeping the truck clean and well-maintained
• Following all safety procedures and attending toolbox talks

We’re looking for:
✔ HC Licence (truck is auto)
✔ White Card
✔ Strong safety focus
✔ Able to pass drug & alcohol testing
✔ Professional, reliable attitude
✔ Day or night shift availability
✔ Asphalt experience preferred — but we’ll train the right person

About the role
HT Road Surfacing is seeking experienced Asphalt Labourers/Operators to join our team on a casual basis, with full time opportunities for the right people. Based in Rocklea, QLD, this hands-on role will involve assisting with the preparation, laying and finishing of asphalt surfaces for a range of road construction, maintenance projects and Major Infrastructure Projects.

What you'll be doing
* Preparing the worksite and equipment for asphalt laying
* Operating machinery and equipment such as rollers, pavers and compactors
* Spreading, levelling and compacting asphalt to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools
* Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
* Working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

What we're looking for
* Proven experience as an Asphalt Labourer/operator or similar role in the construction/road works industry
* Ability to operate machinery and equipment such as rollers, pavers and compactors
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Current driver's licence and reliable transportation (MR or higher preferred or willing to obtain)
