We transformed this low-clearance area into a clean, low-maintenance deck that ties in perfectly with the existing outdoor space.

🔹 Aluminium subframe – the ideal solution due to the limited ground clearance
🔹 Brite composite decking for a durable, low-maintenance finish
🔹 Picture-framed decking for a clean finished edge
🔹 New timber fence slats to freshen up the boundary and add privacy

A great example of making use of an awkward space where a traditional timber subframe wasn’t suitable.

Scope of works included:
✅ Removal of the existing tiled landing
✅ Extension of the existing merbau deck walkway
✅ Repositioning of the staircase to improve access and usability
✅ Installation of new pre-primed timber balustrades and handrails
✅ Finishing touches to tie everything in with the existing home

The new deck extension provides a much cleaner and more functional connection between the rear of the house and the backyard, while the fresh balustrading gives the area a modern, refreshed look.
