🌧️ Weather Update from Air Elite Group 🌧️

With wet weather and rainfall forecast across the coming days, we’d like to thank our customers in advance for their patience and understanding.

While our team will continue to work hard to keep appointments and attend to service calls, heavy rain and storm conditions can impact the safety and efficiency of certain air conditioning and electrical works. In some cases, outdoor installations, roof work, switchboard upgrades, and other weather-sensitive tasks may need to be delayed or rescheduled to ensure the safety of both our technicians and our customers.

If your booking is affected, our team will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.

We appreciate your understanding as we navigate the challenging weather conditions and remain committed to delivering the high-quality service you expect from Air Elite Group.

Stay safe, stay dry, and thank you for choosing Air Elite Group Air Conditioning & Electrical.

💧⚡ Water and electrical circuits don’t mix!

With recent wet weather, we’ve seen an increase in electrical issues caused by water entering electrical circuits, switchboards, and electrical components. Even a small amount of moisture can lead to short circuits, system failures, safety hazards, and costly repairs.

If you’ve experienced power interruptions, tripped safety switches, or your air conditioning system isn’t operating as it should after heavy rain, it’s important to have it inspected by a qualified technician.

Stay safe, avoid attempting electrical repairs yourself, and contact a professional if you suspect water damage to any electrical equipment.

The team at Air Elite Group is here to help keep your home and business running safely and efficiently, rain or shine. ☔🔧

🔌💡⚡️Power outages and use of air conditioning systems

As power resumes to your home, it’s important to check your air conditioning units for any damage.

1. Turn off your air conditioner unit with the remote/central controller.
2. Locate the outdoor unit.
3. Locate the isolator switch – a large plastic V-shaped switch, typically located on the wall next to the outdoor unit.
4. Turn the isolator switch off.
5. Leave the unit for 30 minutes.
6. Turn the isolator switch on and activate the system.
7. Check for any errors with the unit (have the video record function on your phone ready to go).

Don’t forget to record details such as time and date of the power outages for insurance purposes and claims for air conditioning units.

Resetting your air conditioning in this way can often resolve minor power interruption problems.

If the problem persists after the air conditioning reset, it’s time to give us a call.
