6 weeks, 3,000+ cubic metres of mulch, and a whole lot of night shifts later, our project with valued client Brisbane City Council is officially wrapped up!

Our crew took to the roads after dark to supply and install fresh mulch into median strips and roadside garden beds across the region. Delivering this work after hours meant navigating heavy rain, midnight traffic, and even making a slithery new friend along the way (swipe to the end to meet our late-night supervisor 🐍).

Operations of this scale require absolute reliability. Moonyah Workforce managed our traffic control around the clock, bringing top-tier road safety compliance to keep our team secure on site. A big shoutout as well to GaWun Supplies for fitting our crew out in compliant, high-visibility reflective PPE.

It was a huge effort to keep Brisbane looking sharp, green, and well-maintained while the city slept. As a strategic partner for Brisbane City Council, Tuff Yards is immensely proud to deliver such a rewarding project—dedicated to building a better Brisbane.

Tuff Yards is thrilled to stand behind the Pine Central Holy Spirit Hornets this season as an official club sponsor. From sponsoring a total of 550 players across the junior boys and girls all the way to the senior men’s and women’s sides, having our logo on the back of every matchday shirt and placed around the grounds is a massive privilege.

It was an honour to join guests from across the globe to celebrate the Indigenous business sector and outstanding supplier diversity.

A massive, heartfelt congratulations to our close friend Mark Kucks, who deservingly took home Supplier Diversity Advocate of the Year! Having known Mark for over 15 years through Queensland Government events, we couldn't be prouder. A descendant of the Yuggera and Kullilli peoples, he led the development of the transformative Statim Yaga initiative, embedding Indigenous employment, training, and procurement right into the heart of Hutchies' core operations. 👏

Huge congratulations also go to Kakadu Organics for winning Indigenous Exporter of the Year! As a neighbouring local business, watching them expand into global markets and achieve international success is fantastic to see.
