Good roofs start with a good crew... and we reckon we’ve got one of the best. 💪

The Envy boys show up, work hard and always get the job done together. Proud of this team and everything they bring to every site. 👏

A pretty cool full circle moment.

We recently got the opportunity to re-roof a commercial warehouse in Loganholme. The address didn’t ring a bell, but as soon as I got to site, I realised I’d worked on the original build as a first or second-year apprentice.

Now, all these years later, I’m back re-roofing that same building under my own company, Envy Roofing.

What makes it even better is that the same edge protection company that installed the protection on the original build is back on this project too. I had nothing to do with that business back then—now I own it as well.

Back then, I was just a young bloke learning the trade. I wouldn’t have imagined I’d be back here in this position.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget how far you’ve come. This one made me stop and appreciate it.

Throwback to where it all began at Acacia Ridge. 👀
At the start, 40,000m² of roofing stretched out ahead of us—and the Envy crew was ready to get stuck into it.
A massive project, plenty of hard work and one seriously impressive transformation. 💪

Every roofer knows the heat hits differently when you’re standing on a roof all day. ☀️🥵
Here are our tips for surviving summer on the tools:
💧 Keep your water close and drink regularly
🌅 Start early where possible
🧴 Apply sunscreen, and remember to reapply
🧢 Cover up with the right sun protection
🌳 Take your breaks in the shade
👀 Keep an eye on your mates
🛑 Speak up if you or someone else isn’t feeling right
The job needs to get done, but looking after yourself and the crew always comes first.
Roofers, what tip would you add to the list? Drop it in the comments. 👇
