The finish line is in sight… and today reminded me what this challenge is really all about. 💙
There are just two days left in this year’s Push-Up Challenge.
I’ll be honest… I’m looking forward to giving the shoulders a well-earned break. 😅
But today was different.
Instead of tackling today’s push-ups on my own, I managed to rope a few of the team into joining me.
There were plenty of laughs.
A few complaints about who came up with the idea.
More than a few sore arms.
And afterwards… a lot of smiling.
It reminded me that this challenge has never really been about push-ups.
It’s about people.
It’s about creating moments where conversations around mental health become a little easier.
It’s about reminding ourselves that checking in on a mate doesn’t have to be awkward.
It’s about building a culture where we support each other—at work, at home and in our communities.
Mental health touches all of us in one way or another.
If these few weeks of push-ups have encouraged even one conversation that otherwise wouldn’t have happened, then every sore muscle has been worth it.
We’re almost at the finish line, and we’re incredibly close to hitting our fundraising goal.
If you’ve been following along and thought about donating but haven’t quite got around to it, I’d love your support over these final two days.
Every dollar helps Headspace continue the incredible work they do supporting young Australians with their mental health.
