The details make all the difference — and so does delivering a result that works within our client’s budget. Here’s a breakdown of this incredible transformation completed by Cooks Excavation
• 300 tonnes of soil moved
• Construction of a 19m sandstone retaining wall using 21 sandstone blocks
• Installation of 10 beautifully diamond-sawn sandstone steps
• 22m of sandstone garden edging completed
• 14m of corten steel edging installed around the pool and welded into place for a seamless finish
The corten edging was used to create a clean separation between the mulch garden bed and drainage aggregate, while subsoil drainage was installed underneath to effectively manage any pool overflow.
To complete the space, we created a crushed sandstone fire pit and entertainment area, prepared the area with nutrient-rich turf underlay, and laid 175m² of premium couch turf.
By carefully planning each stage of the project and offering practical solutions, we were able to create a high-end finish while working in with the client’s budget and vision.
