Before wrapping up on this property, our team got down on hands and knees to hand w**d the tree rings out the front, making sure everything was looking its absolute best before we left.

Winter cut backs underway with Sara 🌿

We were tidying up some salvias and sedums that were well overdue for a cut back. They’d gone woody and bare on top, but already had fresh new growth pushing through at the base.

A bit early in the season, but leaving them as tall, tired sticks wasn’t doing them any favours either especially with new growth already committing underneath. ✂️

They’ll handle it well and bounce back strong once conditions warm up again.

Autumn has well and truly arrived in the Southern Highlands and the colours around here are unreal. Sitting out here looking over the ocean with the Buxus cones and hedges just feels pretty special.

I honestly love this life and what I get to do every day. Being a horticulturalist and working in spaces like this never really feels like work, more like something I just enjoy being part of and love.

Feeling pretty lucky for where we’re at right now, and excited for what’s coming next.
