Located in Sydney’s inner west, Haberfield is well known for its mix of heritage homes, wide streets and lingering Italian culture. The team at CD Construction were engaged to give this beautiful home a complete structural upgrade and an internal refurbishment of the existing dwelling, garage and studio. The scope of works for the upgrades also involved re-landscaping the entire yard encompassing a new driveway, gardens, decking and construction of a new pool and cabana.

Throwback to when the team at CD Construction completed a refurbishment of the iconic and vibrant Imperial Hotel located in the popular inner west suburb of Erskineville. The entire internal space of the basement, ground and first floor were stripped down to make way for 3 new bar areas, dining area, courtyard, amenities and all back of house facilities. We restored the heritage facade, added a hand painted mural on the ceiling of the main bar and did a complete commercial kitchen fitout all within an 8-month period. We also incorporated a 3m long single piece marble top chef’s table along with extensive brickwork features including large archways and exposed brick walls throughout.

Located in the stylish Sydney suburb of Paddington is a magnificent Penthouse project delivered by the CD Construction team. From demolition of existing structures and site preparation to alteration and addition works, this abode on the 7th floor had an overhaul and makeover to be proud of. We converted existing concrete slabs into 2 new balconies, installed a new gas fireplace, new aluminium framed windows, upgraded the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, roof terrace as well as converted a section of the existing balcony into an internal wet area. With a complete internal fit out and internal layout modifications, this home is looking stylish once again!

Located in the leafy green suburb of Woollahra, the team at CD Construction were engaged to reform this luxurious residence whilst conserving its original heritage features. The roofing systems for this project utilised a combination of traditional slate and standing seam materials increasing its durability and aesthetics appeal. In our renovation and extension works, the structural stabilisation of the existing dwelling and underpinning of all boundary walls were imperative to the delivery of this opulent home.

Located in the heart of North Sydney CBD, the Berry Square Forecourt Redevelopment is an oasis for the public. This project involved demolition works, new integrated lighting, hydraulic and electrical services as well as extensive landscaping to revitalise the public space.

The combination of thoughtfully designed paving, seamless canopy structure and a new al fresco café creates the perfect setting for a quick break in a busy day.

Located in Double Bay, Vedalia is a high-end residential project constructed by CD Construction Group. This 3-storey luxurious apartment block comprises of 7 magnificent units with 2 high speed internal lifts, 2 levels of basement parking and storage as well as extensive and detailed external landscaping. The common lobby features a 9m high ceiling, 3m long skylight and extensive glass louvre system, giving the area all the natural light it needs. The stunning roof level penthouse with a private lift and an extensive green roof has set a record-breaking price per sqm for an apartment in Sydney’s east. Great work to all involved on this amazing project.

As the Principal Contractor for the partial level 2 and 3 upgrade of Westpoint Shopping Centre located in Blacktown, a high level of planning and coordination with retailers was required as it was a live worksite. This meant that there were existing services and structures as well as public interaction to consider, especially for access to the void edges and skylight atrium. Highlights of this project include the extensive landscaping throughout the centre, the pebbled columns and faux beams, scattered terrazzo design and the sonar spray finish applied to the ceilings. Featured in The Daily Telegraph, this project was an exciting one to work on! Great job team and all involved.

This luxurious residential home situated in Kirribilli is simply stunning! We were involved in the construction of the 4-storey residence including a pool, jetty and extensive landscaping. The works included a new concrete structure along with Vitrocsa windows, high-end internal finishes, landscaping, and a bespoke boat shed. Amazing work to all!

Completed in October 2021, THE LOFT – NINE by Mirvac, was an exciting project to work on! ‘The Loft - NINE by Mirvac’ is an adaptive re-use development that required CD Construction to convert the building from a commercial building to the NINE by Mirvac sales suite, including a 3-bedroom display apartment, sales gallery and project office. Great work delivered by the team!

Lilydale House is the former heritage nurses’ quarters of Marrickville Hospital built in 1909. CD Construction Group was involved in converting this magnificent 2 storey Edwardian house into 2 separate residential apartments on each floor. These apartments feature fine heritage interiors, 3-metre-high pressed metal ceilings in living areas, detailed architraves and skirtings as well as restored gorgeous bay windows. The team did an amazing job to deliver on this project’s sustainability goals and complex heritage requirements. Great work to all involved!

Located in the chic Sydney suburb of Paddington is a recently completed Penthouse project by the CD Construction team! The team were involved in alternations and additions of the penthouse located on the seventh floor of the building. Works carried out included an extension to create 2 new balconies, demolition of existing internal and external walls, kitchen, bathroom and ensuite as well as installation of a new gas fireplace and windows. We’ve also upgraded the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and roof terrace, and converted a part of the existing balcony into an internal wet area.
