May Site Update 🏡👷‍♂️

It’s been another strong month across our Candor Homes builds, with plenty happening on site from start to finish.

Across our homes in the Hunter, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens regions, we’ve seen framing take shape, roof installations completed, and internal stages progressing through to tiling and kitchen installations.

It’s also been a very wet month on site with plenty of rain, but our teams and trades have continued pushing forward and keeping progress moving where possible.

Every stage tells part of the story, and it’s been great to watch these homes progress side by side, from structure through to internal finishes and beyond.

A big thank you to our site teams and trades who continue to deliver quality work on every build, every day.

We’re looking forward to sharing even more progress as we move further into winter and continue bringing these homes to life.

Building a home rarely goes exactly to plan.

Weather changes. Site conditions surprise us. Access can be tighter than expected. Deliveries get delayed. Challenges pop up when you least expect them.

The difference is not whether problems happen. It's how you respond when they do.

Every home we build is backed by a team committed to finding solutions, adapting when needed, and keeping progress moving forward.

Construction is full of moving parts, but our focus stays the same: delivering the best possible outcome for our clients.

Sometimes building is about having a plan.

Our Caphilly 3 homes are taking shape side by side in North Rothbury.

Built on narrow blocks with rear lane access, each single storey home has been designed with a different family in mind. Different needs, different layouts, different ways of living.

They may be small in footprint, but they pack some punch, with thoughtful planning and individual character starting to show as the builds come out of the ground.

Retained and raised frontages help each home sit naturally within the site, giving each facade its own presence from the street.

Three homes. Three families. Each one taking shape in its own way.

Selections day for this beautiful North Rothbury home and it’s all coming together so beautifully 🤍

A timeless white palette paired with warm timber features and flooring is creating the perfect balance of clean, refined and cosy family living.

Gunmetal accents throughout add depth and contrast, while sleek skirting profiles, French pattern tiles and classic French-style doors bring so much character and warmth to the home.

Every selection has been carefully considered to create a space that feels welcoming, lived in and effortlessly timeless.

We can already picture the slow mornings, family dinners and warm light filling this single storey family home.

The small details can completely change how a home feels.

Feature walls are a simple way to add warmth, texture and personality to your space, while still keeping a timeless look. We love using Easycraft wall panelling in timber or painted finishes to create custom touches throughout the home.

For a more elevated finish, add a timber or stone top shelf for styling, display pieces or practical everyday use. Half wall or full wall applications both create a beautiful impact depending on the space and style.

With so many profiles and finishes available, there’s an option to suit every home aesthetic, from coastal and contemporary to modern farmhouse and minimalist design.

One of our favourite parts of the process is bringing our clients’ ideas to life and creating homes that feel personal to them.

This home has been carefully developed through Candor Homes’ detailed planning and design process, starting with early concept discussions and evolving through layout refinement, spatial planning and considered design development. Working closely with our client at every stage, we’ve shaped a home that reflects their lifestyle, vision and the way they want to live day to day.

From floorplan configuration through to selection details, every decision has been made with intention to balance functionality, natural light and liveability, while keeping the design truly tailored to the client.

This upcoming build highlights the importance of a thorough pre-construction process, where collaboration, clarity and careful selection work together to create something genuinely unique.

Construction will be commencing soon as this coastal family home moves from design into build, and we can’t wait to bring it to life in The Junction.
