The process behind the finish.
A lot of people ask how we get that soft, cloud-like texture with lime wash .Here’s a look inside the process at the Pilates studio:
Surface prep: walls need to be clean, sound, and properly primed before lime wash will bond correctly
First coat: applied in loose, irregular strokes with a natural bristle brush, never rolled flat
Layering: each coat builds depth; we work wet-on-wet in sections to control the blend
The finish as it cures, the lime carbonates and locks in that soft, cloudy variation you can’t get from paint.
