It was fantastic to watch David become the worlds youngest ever DSWA Master waller. What an achievement! Respect 🎉
Back in 2022, we welcomed an apprentice to join us, kindly funded by the The Ernest Cook Trust. He completed a 12-month placement alongside Master Craftsman Philip Dolphin.
At just 17 years old, and with no previous walling experience, he began his journey with us. Since then, he has continued working alongside Philip, developing his skills, knowledge and dedication to the craft.
Yesterday, he reached an incredible milestone — successfully passing his Masters timed test and earning the accolade of Master Craftsman.
To go from having no experience to achieving Master Craftsman status in such a short space of time is an extraordinary accomplishment and a real testament to David's hard work, commitment and determination.
Reflecting on the achievement, he said:

The biggest thank you goes to Philip for taking me on as an apprentice and helping give me the opportunity to learn the craft. His support has been invaluable and I'm really grateful"
