Dahlia season is finished and boy what a season it was!
Now the garden shifts gears, letting the chickens scratch, turn and do their thing building beautiful compost for what comes next.

The great dig and divide has started.
I’m not too sure about the timing 🫠 but I have decided to lift the dahlia’s to save them from rot.
It is a very tedious task and did I mention time consuming?
Just a snippet of a few varieties showing their original ‘mother’ tuber and how they developed over the previous season. Absolute craziness!!
