The waiting room is where trust is built — and at Coogee Animal Hospital, Elite designed a reception and waiting experience that does exactly that. 🐾

Light-toned timber panelled joinery, terrazzo flooring, custom upholstered bench seating with rounded timber frames, soft globe wall lighting, and a framed coastal print create an interior that is warm, considered, and unmistakably connected to its beachside Coogee context.

This is a space designed to reduce anxiety — for pets and their owners — from the very first moment of arrival. Because in a well-designed veterinary environment, the patient experience begins at the front door, not the consultation room.

Coastal. Considered. Complete. 🐾
Introducing Coogee Animal Hospital — a brand new veterinary fitout nestled in one of Sydney's most vibrant beachside suburbs, designed and delivered by Elite Projects.

Across 150m² and two carefully zoned levels, this fitout was designed to serve the pets and families of Coogee with a space that is as thoughtfully considered as the care delivered within it.

The ground and upper levels house dedicated consultation rooms, a laboratory and pharmacy, a large treatment area, and a fully sterile operating theatre — each zone planned to optimise clinical workflow and operational efficiency from the very first day of opening.

The interior palette feels as relaxed as the suburb itself — textured finishes, light-toned timbers, and soft blues come together to create a calm, welcoming environment that is unmistakably coastal in character.

Welcome to the neighbourhood, Coogee Animal Hospital.

Phil from Elite will be attending the ADAVB Convention '26 in Melbourne on 18 – 19 September — and we are very much looking forward to being part of this year's event.

The theme, Beyond the Bite: Truths, Trends and Tomorrow's Tech, reflects exactly the kind of forward-thinking conversation we love to be part of. As dental practices continue to evolve, so too does the importance of the built environment that supports them — and we believe that a well-designed dental practice is one of the most powerful investments a practice owner can make.

If you are attending and would like to connect with Phil — whether you are considering a new fitout, a renovation, or simply want to explore what is possible for your space — we would love the opportunity to chat.

Come and find us on the day.

RENDERS • ONYX MEDICAL

At Onyx Medical, Elite Projects approached the design of every room with the same intention and care — from the consultation rooms and treatment areas through to the staff room behind the scenes.

Consultation rooms balance clinical precision with warmth — dark timber joinery, curved cabinetry, stone tile splashbacks, and integrated handwash basins creating spaces that are functional, private, and refined. Treatment rooms deliver clinical performance through a seamless palette of warm stone tones, purpose-built joinery, and integrated lighting. And the staff room — often the most overlooked space in a clinic — was given the same level of considered design as every patient-facing area, with a dedicated coffee station, sage green tiled splashback, globe wall sconces, and warm seating that creates a genuine space for the team to recharge.

When every room is considered, the entire experience is elevated — for patients and practitioners.

This is what Elite Projects delivers.

SNEAK PEAK: Waiting room - Onyx Medical

The waiting room is where patient trust is built or lost — long before a practitioner enters the room. ✨

At Onyx Medical, Elite Projects designed a waiting area that challenges every expectation of what a medical clinic should feel like. Curved ceiling architecture flows into a sweeping curved sofa in warm caramel upholstery — softening the built form and creating an immediate sense of comfort and enclosure. Rich dark timber joinery, soft globe wall sconces, sheer natural light filtering through floor-to-ceiling curtains, and considered botanical styling complete an interior that is calm, sophisticated, and deeply considered.

This is a space designed with a single purpose — to make patients feel genuinely at ease from their very first moment of arrival.
