MEET THE TEAM~ Matt Cummins, Operations Manager KA

Hailing from Crookwell NSW, Matt recalls growing up on his grand parents farm as his inspiration to pursue a career in Agriculture. He began working as a Jackaroo across NSW in the early 2000s including 2 years Haddon Rig Merino Stud at Warren.

At 21 years of age he became Sheep Overseer in the Upper Hunter managing over 20,000 sheep before heading to the Northern Territory for a further 2 years on family owned station surrounding Daly Waters, with his third season spent contract mustering.

Matt’s professionalism garnered him a role as Farm Manager Kenilworth and Omaru Southern Tablelands NSW and later Bobbara Station where he progressed to management from 2014 to 2023. A diverse 4300ha operation involving mixed farming of livestock, cropping and pasture based grazing crops. Implementing best practices for livestock, working with contractors for best outcomes for cropping through development and implementation for wheat, canola and pasture developments in highly fertile soils. Matt successfully grew the DSE to over 51,000 with options to trade or take on agistment.

With extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of farming, logistics, management and customer service we are proud to welcome Matt as Operations Manager for Kidman Aviation.
