🔨 Carpenter - Full Time Position 🔨
The role
You will play a key role on site, working alongside our team while helping manage workflow and maintain the high standards Dalkeith Construction is known for.
Key responsibilities
- General carpentry across residential building projects
- Framing, lock-up, fix-out and finishing carpentry
- Reading and interpreting construction plans
- Leading and coordinating trades and apprentices
- Managing daily site workflow and keeping projects on schedule
- Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe job site
Skills and Experience
- Certificate III in carpentry
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- White card (not essential)
- Own tools
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong carpentry skills with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Good problem solving skills and adaptability
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual labour
