From following safe work procedures and using the right equipment to identifying risks before starting a job, we're committed to creating a workplace where everyone looks out for one another.

We continually strive to improve our safety practices, because at the end of the day, getting the job done is important, but making sure everyone gets home safely is what matters most.

Safety is everyone's responsibility, and it's something we never take shortcuts on. ⚡

It's great to see primary school students have access to fresh fruit, all thanks to the McKern Steel Foundation Fresh Fruit Friday program that we are proudly a part of.

The program, now in its 10th year, delivers a weekly supply of fresh fruit to 35 kindergartens, primary and secondary schools in and around the Bendigo. With over 1,000kg of fruit delivered weekly to 14,000 students, it is the region’s largest program of its kind.

It's awesome to see local businesses work together to make a positive impact.

It looks like a small job - but it makes big impact.

Panel Saw Breakdown ⬇️.

When our industrial electrician, Steve attends a breakdown, he is often simply told, “It’s not working.” With a large Panel Saw, there are many moving parts and complex mechanical and electrical systems involved. The challenge is to systematically diagnose the fault and identify the actual cause of the problem.

In this case, the fault came down to two very small components: a fuse and a rectifier.

It is a good example of how a major machine breakdown can ultimately be caused by something as small and simple as a single electrical component. A needle in a hay stack.
