Installation of Bore pump and Fence off using cattle rail completed.

~ 100nb strainer post utilised to build the solar panel frame work off.
3.0m strainer driven 1.7m into the ground then sleeved & Welded to suit the supplied post, Panels frame work built and panels installed.
~ Bracket welded to the post to mount the control box.
~ Support arm welded off the main post to support the head of the pump pipe work.
~ 2x 40nb stays welded from main post to cattle rail post for extra support.
~ 3m Cattle rail panel work & 10ft Gate to keep stock from getting up to mischief.

Out with the old, in with the new!!!

Very rewarding week out on the fence line.
Hand pull down of the old boundary that had well and truely seen out its value, trim back the peppercorn trees while no fence in the way then re install new boundary fence from the Road to the high water flood line where the fence turns to hotwires.

Long life 2.0mm HT Barbwire

100nb Strainers Driven
50nb welded “stump post” stays.

As Fencing contractor there one thing I appreciate and it’s a client that understands the value in a good quality boundary fence and that starts with what I consider “Premium” Australian made materials from Waratah!!
Yes the initial material out lay is more costly but watch this fence last well into the future!!

~ 4m Star post spacings.
~ MaxY every 5th (20m)
~ 100m Running strainers
~ 3x Belly Wires clipped to Hingejoint using Waratah ring master clips.
~ Bottom wire raised from the bottom hole to prevent sediment and build up causing rust for maximum longevity.

Chasing Cattle Rail Entry, panel work or steel Fabrication ?

Something a little different this past week.

Returning to an ongoing client on the outskirts of Tamworth who’s has recently started up a landscape yard to build a 2 way facing roadside business sign.
Along with replacing of old timber entry way and decorative garden bed panel along the driveway.

The Sign stands at 2.4m high fitted with supplied locally made signs.
Keeping with the rural look we used
~ 100nb Strainers Driven 1250mm deep then further extended to finished height of 2.4m
~ 115 x 42mm Cattle Rail to construct the framework.

Panel work
~ 100nb Strainers Concreted into existed holes.
~ 115 x 42mm Cattle Rail
~ 200mm Spacings
~ Letterbox Frame

Over the long weekend I slipped down to Scone to Drive 100nb strainers for a good mate completing a fencing job for one of his clients.

~ Stay butts

2.4m 100nb strainers with 4mm wall driven 1.1m into the ground along with 1.2m stay butts driven in 1.0m giving any fence the best chance in tough Australian conditions.

Today I headed out onto the Liverpool Plains to Little jacks creek south west of Willow tree to erect a 5 stand barb wire fence.

100nb Strainers driven by 100cc Honda Strainer post driver to 1.1m deep.

Installed to the clients specifications with there supplied materials.

4m Post spacings
Maxi every 4th
5 Strand 1.8HT Barb
Rotech tie back stay systems
12ft Gate way

Got a fence to build and want the back breaking work of installing strainer posts taken care for you??

Here at BM Rural Co we have a petrol strainer post driver and capable of taking care of the hard work in a little as a few minutes!

At 52kg equipped with a 100cc of petrol power this machine gets the job done as seen below in tough going black rocky soil.

Great for them hard to get to spots! If we can get a vehicle to the location we can drive the post.

Now offering service of strainer post driving as well as stays, cattle rail panels and gates. Completed assembly’s ready to go run wires so you can then complete the fence lines on your own accord.

Pictured below is 2 off the different stay options we recommend the use of.
#1 Welded “Tie back” stay with concrete pad
#2 Welded “Stump Post” stay.

Bull Paddock completed in Bendemeer NSW earlier this week.

8 90 15 Stocktite use to prevent vermin from getting into the improved pastures.
I chose to lift the hinge joint up from the bottom hole for better longevity of the fence. By doing this the hingejoint keeps out of the dirt and grass for rust prevention.
We then run a sacrificial plain wire in the bottom hole to stop vermin pushing under, by running this plain in time it can simply be replaced when wire needs replacing with out the need of patching or replacing the hinge joint. (Use of a barbwire would be recommend in high pressure areas from ferals)

~1.8mm HT Barb wire
~2.5mm Medium belly wires
~3m picket spacings with Maxi every 4th
~8 90 15 Stocktite
~Electric wire installed on stand off insulator.
~100nb strainers (Driven) with fully welded 50nb stump post style stay system.
