🦠 Beneficial bacteria—the invisible workforce behind a healthy pond!

After completing the yearly clean-out of this Aquascape wetland filtration system, we add a fresh dose of beneficial bacteria to help kick-start the biological filtration again.

The clean-out removes accumulated sediment, organic waste and excess nutrients from the wetland. Reintroducing beneficial bacteria helps break down waste, maintain water quality and keep the pond ecosystem clean, clear and balanced. 💧🌿.

Couldn’t be prouder of the boys on this one 👏🏼

Sitting back and looking at what the team has created here — it’s an absolute masterpiece. The craftsmanship, attention to detail and care that’s gone into every part of this project is something else.

Most importantly, our client is absolutely stoked with how it’s all come together 🙌🏼

Still a few bits and bobs to finish off — some planting, a few more stairs and final touches — but we’re nearly there.

And the best part? This entire space has been created as an amazing enclosure for foster cats 🐈🌿💦

⛏️ ON THE TOOLS WITH DU🔺L⚒️

Quick update on our traditional Chinese pond build. It’s been a great week of beautiful weather! let us get everything ready for waterproofing next week. All the crates have shipped from China and been delivered, so we’re set for placement in traditional Chinese style over the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

One of the things we love most about what we do is being part of projects that have a real purpose.

Our amazing client foster and rehabilitate cats before finding them their forever homes, and we’re honoured to be creating a beautiful natural stream through their cat enclosure.

It’s a unique project, we feel incredibly grateful to be involved and can’t wait to bring their vision to life.
