It's time. Our family is moving back to our spiritual home in the far north - mixed emotions and huge thanks to all my loyal customers. We have created many living memories that will continue to grow over the years, so a little piece of us will remain here.

Yesterday's rain was very much welcomed! 🌧 El Nino means these events may be less frequent this season, with long dry spells in between. Harvesting as much rain as possible will help your garden through those dry spells - put every piece of roof to work to maximise water capture with even the briefest of showers - your garden will love you for it! 😊

Is this the tree that we should all have in our yard? Eucalyptus Curtisii, Plunkett Mallee, Brisbane Mallee - all names that it goes by - a true endemic species to our area - now protected and listed as 'near threatened' due to land clearing.
We planted a small one in our backyard about 18 months ago, and look at it now! They are a beautiful small tree (6-7m) and produce honey scented blooms that attract native bird life....what's not to love??

Getting the gardens ready for a scorcher today - it's a great idea to plan water tanks and irrigation into any garden design. Going to be even more important with El Nino now declared this season!
