The layered lighting adds depth to the joinery, bringing focus to clothing, shelving and display areas while creating a softer atmosphere.

From dedicated hanging zones to drawers and open display, every section was been designed around how the space is actually used.

Dark timber-look joinery creates a rich, grounded backdrop, while the curved mirror and integrated shelving soften the composition and add a subtle sense of character.

Open shelving keeps everyday pieces within easy reach, while concealed drawers help maintain a clean and considered finish.

Thoughtful details that make the space work beautifully, day after day.

A considered approach to joinery can make all the difference — maximising storage without overwhelming the room.

The same deep, dark palette continues into the adjoining space, creating a visual connection between the two areas while giving the client a dedicated piece of custom joinery.

The combination of dark cabinetry, timber detailing and glass-fronted storage adds functionality while making the transition between the spaces feel intentional.

It's the details that make a kitchen feel personal.

To complement the bold colour palette, a contrasting grout was selected to emphasise the brick pattern of the splashback and add another layer of definition.

Custom storage was also incorporated into the joinery, including a dedicated space for w**e — a small detail designed specifically around how the kitchen would be used.

A strong colour choice, balanced by the right finishes.

The deep green cabinetry creates a striking contrast against the lighter benchtops and splashback, while the timber flooring brings warmth back into the palette.

The colour scheme was developed around the client's brief, with each finish selected to give the kitchen character without making the space feel too heavy.

Where did the speaker go?

The recessed speaker has been integrated into the custom joinery and can be pulled forward when in use, giving the client the sound quality they wanted without compromising the clean lines of the entertainment wall.

Paired with the floating fireplace, it's a custom solution designed around both how the space looks and how it is used.
