📣 We’re Hiring – Junior Admin & Customer Service Assistant
(School leavers encouraged to apply)

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and reliable person to join our small, close-knit team in a general admin & customer service role.

✨ No experience required - full training provided.
✨ Previous admin or customer service experience is welcome too.

What you’ll be doing:
📞 Answering phones & helping customers
📅 Scheduling appointments
📧 Replying to emails
📄 Supplier paperwork & filing
🧹 Light office cleaning & general admin support
📈 Opportunity to take on more admin tasks (like invoicing) over time

We’re looking for someone who:
✔️ Has a friendly, professional phone manner
✔️ Is organised, reliable & a team player
✔️ Is keen to learn and take initiative
✔️ Holds a current driver’s licence

With heavy hearts, we share that our much-loved Pete has passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Pete was the heart of Austin Airconditioning - a devoted family man, a passionate tradesman, and someone who truly cared about his customers, his team, and this community. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew him.

Austin Airconditioning will be continuing on, and we are committed to carrying forward Pete’s legacy - the values, standards, and pride he built this business on over many years.

To our customers with outstanding work or quotes: please know that you haven’t been forgotten. We will be in touch in the new year as we gently navigate this time.

🌟 We’re Hiring – Part Time Reception/Admin 🌟

Austin Airconditioning is looking for a friendly and reliable receptionist/administrator to join our team!

This role is part time (min. 2 days/week, flexible hours) and involves a mix of customer service, admin, and general office support. Some days are busy and fast-paced, while others can be quiet - so we need someone adaptable, organised, and happy to help wherever needed.

💻 Systems we use: ServiceM8, Outlook, Xero + supplier websites (full training provided).
☎️ Main tasks: answering phones, helping customers, data entry, ordering stock, banking/mail, and keeping the office running smoothly.

We’re after someone with:
✅ Great communication skills
✅ Customer service/admin experience (bonus, not essential)
✅ A positive, can-do attitude
✅ Willingness to learn new systems

What a massive year it’s been!

We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible team and all they’ve achieved, stepping up to allow Pete & Penny to focus on Pete’s treatments throughout the year.

To our amazing customers – THANK YOU! This year hasn’t been the smoothest, and not everything went to plan. From last-minute scheduling changes to delayed replies due to unexpected hospital stays or out-of-area medical appointments, your support and understanding have meant the world to us. It’s been so humbling to have so many of you drop in or call just to check on how Pete is doing – we truly appreciate it.

Here’s to a well-earned break! 🎉 We’ll be back on January 2nd, refreshed and ready to tackle whatever 2025 brings.
