Bega Concrete Tanks is looking for 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 to join our team, working on the construction of high-quality concrete tanks for commercial and residential projects.
🔨 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼:
• Assist with onsite tank construction
• Support steel fixers & concrete finishers
• Work as part of a skilled construction team
• Follow safety procedures on all sites
✅ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿:
• Construction/labouring experience (essential)
• Steel fixing & concrete finishing skills (desirable)
• Willingness to travel
• Driver’s licence essential, MR or HR preferred
• Strong work ethic & reliability

These props and formwork supports play a crucial role in every tank build—supporting the load while the concrete is poured and curing. Paired with strong timber bearers and bracing, it’s all about stability, accuracy, and getting the job done right the first time.

This build highlights the importance of properly installed steel mesh in concrete tank construction. The mesh acts as the backbone of the structure—distributing loads evenly, controlling cracking, and significantly increasing the tank’s durability over time.

Without adequate reinforcement, concrete alone can’t handle the stresses from water pressure, ground movement, and daily use. With it, you get a tank that’s built to last for decades.

It’s what you don’t see in the finished product that makes all the difference.

Chasing rainbows… and building tanks 🌈👷‍♂️

Not every day you get a view like this on site! While we were busy constructing another solid concrete tank, nature decided to put on a bit of a show in the background.

Rain, sun, and a whole lot of hard work — just another day doing what we do best.

🌧️ + ☀️ = 🌈
And a pretty good reminder that even on wet days, there’s something worth smiling about.
