Set on a historic farm site in Swansea, this award-winning boutique festival of the senses celebrates harvest, creativity and connection to Country.

🪵 This year, festivalgoers will be able to craft their own keepsake using rare Tasmanian timber reclaimed from the depths of Lake Pieman, guided by skilled women woodworkers.

In keeping with the 2026 theme, Layers: Woven in Time, the workshop reflects the stories held within every piece of reclaimed timber.

Echo Festival’s resonant program brings together Tasmanian food, wine, live music, art and storytelling, all underpinned by a strong commitment to sustainability and coastal care.

Say g'day to Arlin Lee 👋

Arlin is the Production Supervisor at our Hagley processing facility.

From the moment our timber arrives on site to when it leaves the yard, Arlin’s across it. He oversees the full production process, from air and kiln drying through to machining and packing.

Since joining in August, Arlin’s helped transform the site, regrading stock, setting up the air drying yard and getting everything ready for what’s next.

His favourite part? Working with rare Tasmanian timbers recovered from beneath the lakes and learning how each species behaves.

Arlin says he's excited to send plenty of Hydrowood out the door to special timber projects across Australia in 2026.
