Hines Constructions delivered a purpose-built Metalwork facility for Kinross Wolaroi School, including demolition, equipment relocation, and a new workshop designed with advanced acoustic controls.

Completed and fully operational in time for the 2022 school year, the facility provides a significantly larger, industry-reflective workspace for students, supporting hands-on learning in a modern environment.

This marks the third successful project delivered by Hines for Kinross Wolaroi School, further strengthening an ongoing partnership built on quality and trust.

Constructed at the home of the Forbes Magpies Rugby League Football Club, the facility has been designed to provide a high-quality, multi-functional environment that enhances both player and spectator experience. The development incorporates modern player amenities, commercial kitchen and canteen facilities, flexible function and community spaces, along with compliant accessibility features including lift access and integrated ramp systems throughout.

Following a request from Maranoa Regional Council, one of our team members, Corey, volunteered to judge the LEGO competition at this year’s Roma Show, representing the Denise Spencer Aquatic Centre project team.

Corey noted it was a rewarding experience, with an impressive display of structural intergrity in the designs, creativity, imagination, and talent from local participants.
