Another quality reroof completed! 🔨🏠

This project involved transforming an older tiled roof into a modern Colorbond® roofing system, giving the home a fresh new look while providing the long-term durability and low maintenance that steel roofing is known for.

Our scope of works included:
• Removal of the existing tiled roof
• Installation of new Deep Ocean corrugated roof sheeting
• New Surfmist fascia covers and flashings
• New Deep Ocean High Front Quad guttering throughout

One of the biggest challenges on this project was working around the unpredictable weather and the 30-degree roof pitch, but our team delivered the job safely and to a high standard.

We also had the pleasure of working alongside the team at Let’s Build It Carpentry, who designed and constructed the client’s brand-new carport. To tie the new addition into the existing home, we installed a custom transition flashing, allowing the original house roof to terminate seamlessly onto the new Klip-Lok roof below. We then completed the carport with matching Deep Ocean High Front Quad guttering to finish it off.

Another quality reroof completed in Empire Bay, NSW.

This roof had reached the point where extensive rust was compromising its lifespan, so it was time for a complete replacement.

On the first section, we removed the existing rusted roof sheets along with the old whirly bird that had been used as the bathroom exhaust. We then installed new 40mm top hats to create a solid fixing system before fitting new Classic Cream corrugated roof sheets. We also installed roofing insulation, a new whirly bird, tray flashings, apron flashings and barge flashings. The roof terminates onto a custom transition flashing, directing water efficiently to the upper roof and into the gutter below.

The second section received the same attention, with the ageing sheets removed and replaced with new Classic Cream corrugated roofing, along with fresh roofing insulation, apron flashings and barge flashings to complete the system.

A great result with a roof that’s built to last and ready for many years of protection.

Another couple of projects completed by Coastal Precision Roof Plumbing Services. 👌

🔨 Residential Roof Replacement & Leaf Guard Upgrade

This roof had existing sheets joined above the deck rather than running full length, creating unnecessary joins and potential leak points.

We removed the existing roofing and installed new full-length roof sheets for a cleaner finish and improved weather protection. While we were there, we also replaced the old leaf guard with a new system to help keep the gutters flowing freely and reduce ongoing maintenance.

🏢 Commercial Roof Repairs & Drainage Upgrade

On this commercial project, we replaced a leaking sump and installed a new section of box gutter complete with a new sump. To improve drainage performance, we added an additional outlet nozzle to increase water flow capacity.

We also installed new apron flashings, tray flashings, and Dektites around the air conditioning units, eliminating water ingress caused by undersized and failing existing flashings.

After a tough weekend felt good to get straight back into things and continue you forge ahead with my work. Here’s a few smaller jobs that have been completed recently.
✅ Repair work including the removal of existing flashing and installation of a new transition flashing. We also installed new apron and barge flashings to a pergola, ensuring water is directed correctly and preventing leaks into the built-in gutter system.

✅ Whirlybird installation to improve roof ventilation and help reduce heat build-up.

✅ Another leaking roof repair where we removed existing roof tiles, installed new battens, and fabricated a custom transition flashing to cover an existing gutter system. This eliminated ongoing water ingress issues caused by the gutter and pergola structure.

No matter the size of the job, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship and long-lasting solutions.

Latest project completed in Berkeley Vale 🔨🏠

This one was a full tile reroof where we stripped the existing tiled roof and gave the home a complete new look with fresh metal roofing and drainage.

Scope of works included:
• Tile roof removal
• New roof battens installed
• New roofing installation
• Surfmist Ultra fascia covers
• Slotted high front quad guttering
• Corrugated and Trimdek roof sheeting
• New PVC downpipes

A clean modern finish that completely transformed this property. Big thanks to everyone involved in getting this one over the line.

Another solid week on the tools 👌

This week we completed a gutter replacement in Shale Grey using Lysaght Hi Front Quad guttering. The existing gutter system was fully removed before installing the new material, giving the home a fresh clean finish.

We also wrapped up another gutter replacement in Classic Cream using Lysaght Sheerline guttering. For this one we also installed a Karben Industries leaf guard system to help keep maintenance down and improve long term performance.

To finish off the week, we attended a commercial make safe job where we used an EWP boom lift to safely access the building, carry out temporary works and provide a quote for future repairs.
