Some progress at our East Bateau Bay job. Removed the existing sliding door today and couldn’t leave this old mush of particle board which has copped years of water ingress due to the sliding door never been flashed. So it was a non negotiable to cut out the flooring and leave a floor fan to dry joists out before we follow an our procedures to install the new sliding door with a tray flashing.

Our Phegans Bay job has turned an unusable space into a guest retreat. Plenty of hurdles to overcome in this one but there is nothing we can’t handle. Plenty of last minute added on sections to this project throughout which blew the original project time out. The key part to this is to be open with clients and explain the end time will be setback while the correct processes take place. As long as clients are happy then no issues. Which comes back to communication.

Our Bateau Bay extension and renovation in full swing with concrete in before the long weekend. Big week next week with a bit more brick work to come down and some framing to take place
