Sandcastle - The Kitchen.

The island bench is the undeniable focal point - hand laid zellige tiles, each piece placed individually, glimmering softly against the stillness of the limestone french-paved floor below. Earthy tones deepen and shift as the warm ambient light moves through the day, drawing out the richness of the timber cabinetry and brass hardware that wrap the room. A sculptural venetian plaster hood anchors the back wall, while a coffee alcove completes the space for slow morning rituals.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing team at and our talented collaborators and . As part of the celebration, we were flown to Brussels to accept the award and tour the Corian® Design Technology Centre, an inspiring experience in itself.⁠

We then headed to Paris Design Week, where we soaked in the latest global design trends and innovations. ⁠

This award is more than just a win, it’s a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and pushing boundaries in design. ⁠

Watching our apprentices grow and succeed is always a proud moment, and Tye has truly left his mark.

From day one (donuts in hand!), he showed us passion, drive, and a great attitude. Since then, his strong work ethic, willingness to learn, constant positivity and yes, the on-site singing has brought incredible energy to every day and every project he’s been a part of.

In a world where the younger generation is often perceived as unwilling to work hard or get their hands dirty, Tye is living proof that dedication and determination still exists.

We are very passionate about our team, and Tye plays an integural part in that. It’s team members like Tye who remind us why investing in training and upskilling matters.

Well done, Tye, you’ve earned this! We’re excited to see what your future holds as a qualified carpenter!

A proud moment for Harry and the DBG team - Officially becoming a qualified carpenter!

Harry started with us at Doherty Building Group back in 2022, and today is his official final day as an apprentice. From the get-go, he stood out for all the right reasons, consistent, punctual and a true team player. With his “get in, get it done” attitude, Harry is one of a kind. He brings solid work ethic, zero fuss, and a real passion for what he does.

We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be able to share and celebrate these meaningful moments as a team.

We couldn’t be prouder of how far Harry has come, and we are excited to see what the future holds.
